Today I wrote a customer the following email:
"Call your doctor. He'll tell you what to do."
So I guess I'm not a feminist after all, what with my assumption that all doctors are men.
While I'm destroying my lady street cred, I might as well admit that playing Modern Warfare makes me nauseous, and I tried watching Apocalypse Now but I just don't get it.
Listen. One day I said something about a judge assuming she was a woman (used words like "she," "her," etc.). Turns out this judge is a man.
ReplyDeleteThe person with me was so embarrassed for me. She literally blushed and was like, "Oh - I won't ever tell him or anyone else you said that!" but I was like WHATEVER I'M BREAKING DOWN STEREOTYPES!
I recognize this story is mostly unrelated to your post, but I still wanted to tell you this story.
And you still have lady street cred.
It's totally related.. Except you aren't a sexist. I am. The proof is in the pudding and by pudding I mean blog post.
